An app starts with something people want to do: meet around an interest, follow a team or connect with the right people. THE CAVE develops mobile apps alongside the design, brand and software that give the product its purpose.
Discuss your projectThe scope
We work from Lisbon, Portugal, with a portfolio spanning social experiences, youth football, professional football networks and e-commerce.
Identify who the app serves and the actions that matter. Profiles, discovery, conversations and notifications belong in the scope when they support that particular product.
Consider the app together with the platform behind it. Content, account journeys and the wider website should make sense as parts of the same service.
Make the interface readable and recognizable, with a visual language suited to the community or business. Consider the product identity alongside its screens, content and small everyday controls.
In practice
